my father wasn't to much of a father to us, my bro . and sister he held us away from our mother for 20 somthing years,and he hasn't been very supportive at all, my brother got in with the wrong crowd and took the rap for other's mistakes not to mention the" other's "are out and free, my bro wants his freedom to spend with our mother which is now 57 yrs of age and his neice and newphew ( my children ) 6 and 2 he's been in for 8 , been denied a motion without any reason , has 4yrs and some months left if he doesn't get help , it's a long and hurtfull story to even begin to explain ,let alone to afford a lawyer for help , what should and could i do ? i don't know anymore

Pray..something like that is hard to help in our "justice" system. just keep searching for a lawyer.

you should tell the truth and if that doen't work bail your brother out if you really care about him trust me i wopuld do the same thing for my little brother. also considering you can't afford a lawyer get some of ur friends to lone you money then u can repay them then your brother will be free and you will have a debt but between you and your brother you can pay them back quicker. hope this helps.

Leave Dad out of it. If he took the rap for someone else, that was his choice, even though it was a bad one.

What would it take for parole to be an option?

Obtaining a pardon or overturning the conviction would be quite a challenge, though not impossible.

If it's a money problem call the DA's office they have a list of lawyer's that work free.

Go to the attorney generals office. They are free and tell them what has happened. I pray for you and your family to have your brother home soon. Good Luck
