there's this guy, he's extra cute and i'm not exactly beautiful (i'm not being humble). i've known him for 3 yrs. i am a little shy, and when he talks to me i get confused and manage to cut short the discourse. sometimes i catch him looking at me and sometimes he sees me looking at him (i try to do that often without him looking). he waves at me sometimes when either i'm too far away to talk to him (eg on opposite side of a wide street) or when i'm with my friends (who are not in the least interested in him). fact is when he does this there are other people around and i'm not too sure at the moment if he directed his salute to me. only afterwards it comes to me that he might have been waving at me. what i do is ignore him completely. i like him a lot, and i think he knows this, i cant stop looking at him. so i dont think i can be an impartial judge on myself.if someone out there got to reading till here, do you think he's flirting, he's in love or he's just having a little fun with me?

He doesn't know enough to be in love.

Obviously he's flirting.

You'll never know what he means by the flirting unless you respond.

If you're not very good-looking, you're certainly vulnerable to cases where you get jerked around because you're supposed to be grateful for the attention, etc., etc. But you can NOT live your life in fear of that!!! After all, most people find mates and reproduce, including most of the ones who are well BELOW average in looks.

My guess is that you're actually a lot better looking than you fear, and that many guys would be attracted to you, probably including this one.

Also, there are a lot of women about whom a guy thinks, "Well, she's plenty attractive enough IF I otherwise like her."
