You could put the bananas in a plastic or brown paper bag with an apple. Apples give off a lot of ethylene which stimulates the ripening of fruit and flowering of plants.

You have a few options. Place the bananas in a brown paper bag and roll the top down, then staple it. Place the bananas in the freezer overnight, then thaw them in the refrigerator for a few hours. They would be black, though, maybe too ripe for your recipe. Best bet is to use the brown bag method.

Put them in a brown paper bag with an apple.
They both release ethylene gas when ripening. The gas will speed up the process when enclosed in a bag.

You can place them in a brown bag such as a grocery or lunch bag if you want them yellow. If you want black place them in the fridge for a day or so and they will be brownish in color.
