No, marijuana can never give you physical withdrawls. It is not shown to be dangerous to quit. Drugs like alcohol, heroin, and benzodiazepines require medical treatment. Marijuana does not. It is all psychological. However, that can sometimes be so bad that a person needs drug counseling to help stop.

No. you cannot become physically dependent on marijuana(THC). Mentally you can, technically you can become mentally addicted/dependent on anything, even the internet.

Withdrawals have not been found in even 5% of the people that use it, as it is not really taken away suddenly, your body still releases from fat cells over a week.

Marijuana as a drug is not physically addictive.

If you're used to smoking it and then stop, you might experience symptoms of stress that marijuana typically alleviates.

you might be in a bad mood or anxious for a few days after quitting but that's it, so I wouldn't exactly call it a physical addiction.

no, and mental addiction is not even a proper term, it implies that you will have problems quitting, when in reality it's as easy as stopping driving a car - you may enjoy it, but you don't suffer for not doing it.

There is no chemical dependency from pot, but it is habit forming and seems to be a challenge for some to break.
