I would celebrate her birthday that weekend or something. Don't feel guilty for having your day. mother's are special, but you need to have a party for the terrible two...jk...but if you want it on the same day, do your thing at night so it can finish in the bedroom and you can have some romantic time alone with your hubby and her time in the morning. She'd like that probably. Good luck!

Ok the birthday gifts can be learning games. Leap frog has games for 2 year olds (I got one for my 2 year old niece and she loves it).
You could always have her birthday the day before, and the party theme could be her favorite cartoon character (elmo or dora).

You can always have a picnic at the park and celebrate both. After all I think your daughter turning two on mother's day is awesome.

i work in daycare, for the 2ns birthday i have seen lots of parents renting out a small room in a local community centre and have a bouncy castle and some toys. few friends and some food.

thats cool My birthday falls on mothers day every 8 years.Well seh is 2 years old she cant get you nothing so im sure the daddy or your husband will get you something and then you both can get the kiddo something.

kids love toys, for a birthdayparty give a dori the explorer of blue's clues kids love them. something to celebrate them both just have her party during the day and go out to eat for dinner
