go to hgtv.com or lowe's.com. Lowe's has a virtual painter that you can use to paint sample rooms with hundreds of colors, inc. designer, to see what you like before you paint.

I love neutral with white crown molding and white base boards. Anything you put in the room after that looks gorgeous. My living room walls are the color of blond maple, sorta tan, sorta creamy. Pretty.

Since it is your living room you want it to be really comfortable what do you think about a nice wine color. Its very calming.

Lowes has a color called "Mars Mist". (it think it's a Valspar brand color) It's like a mushroom color. Everyone that comes to my house LOVES it. In fact 3 people have asked for the name so they can paint their house that color.

baseboards a lighter or darker taupe color
