Absolutely.
Currently, they are not allowed on the campus unless they have permission fron the District Manager. It's not like they can just pop in when ever they want.
The service is probably the best thing for a lot of under-privilages kids. They learn a skill, get free education, free healthcare, a paycheck, a place to live, discipline, and become marketable to the civilian sector.
All for it.

I think it is a very good idea. Most people think badly of military instead of going straight to college. Having recruiters in the school allows the kids to talk to them and learn more, The recruiters can't force them to do anything anyway. It would be no different than if I went and started talking to my classmates about oppotunities in the Marine Corps (which I am in the Delayed Entry Program for, and which I do talk to classmates about) except that the recruiters know the facts better.

The Military is a career opportunnity and their recruiters should have just as much freedom to express those opportunnitys as college recruiters do. According to the opinions of many if I am biased against a certain school or what they believe in, I can protest and try to get them blackballed from high school recruiting efforts. People need to lighten up and get their mind frames out of the 50's and 60's when it comes to Military Recruiters, and let youths of America make up their OWN minds what they want for their future. And YES my son is in high school and I will support him 100% if his decision is to join todays God Blessed Military! Just as I would his decision to continue on to college or enter the work force.

Yes, they are looking for the brightest and the best, Also, they provide an education as well as a career. It may not be for everyone, but I will say that i wish they did that when i was young. I would have loved the opportunity to serve my country, get a university level education payed for by the military, and have a job. Now i am an operations manager, and i have never gone wrong hiring a military service person. Thier dedication and disipline is far above all others every time. Serve those who serve thier country.

Yes!
If colleges are allowed so should the military. It is a viable alternative for many. Its not like the recruiter can sign the kid up on the spot, so merely making information available is a good thing.

Any school that receives government funding should be open to recruiters, period. You want the money, you open your campus. This should include all highschools and college/university campuses.

Yes they should. they should get a demographic idea of a campus first though. in my school, 65% asian and like 30% are exchange students from asian countries. then 20% more are foreigners and all of these students' families have a high regard for education and wouldn't let them join the military. is it a waste of time for recruits to be on campus? yes.

Are college recruiters allowed? Are other professions allowed to come in and talk to students? Why not the military?
