Please investigate Margret MacDonald, John Nelson Darby and dispensationalism in general. How can you hold on to such a ridiculous end times view? It doesn't not come from a literal reading of the Bible.

Here one place to begin.

How is it that no mention was ever made of this theory until 1830?

BTW I am a Christian and a former dispensationalist and it was allowing myself to read what the Bible says not what I need it to say that changed my heart on this matter. Also, my hope is in the Ressurection not in the rapture.

What if you found out that the belief was around before 1830? Would that make a difference to you?

When is God supposed to tell us everything? What's your time table? He only has until 'X' date to reveal whatever it is you want to know? If the date is 1830, it's not good enough for you?

Yet I have no thought that makes me think that I am going to change your mind. You know the theory is out there, you decide what it is that you want to accept, as I do.

The resurrection is something that we can all faith on, but that doesn't stop me from faithing on God being my strength. So I would be careful in the tearing down of those that are of the faith in the rapture of the Church . You see, if true, God requires faith, if there is none He chooses not to work.

You see, it's not edifying to think that God's type of Christ, i.e. the rock that Moses struck, was a one time affair that didn't have any other application. If we are the body of Christ as the scritpures say, the body will only suffer the wrath of God once, not twice as Moses struck it, and therefore would not enter the Promised Land. (Not that the Promised Land was the type of heaven, I would not agree). But God knows what He is doing, and what He did. We are merely paying attention to what He was showing us.

It's interesting how many people believe they are Gods chosen. My sister belongs to one of these Churches. I myself am curious as to your interpretation of; Isaiah 11:11. It appears to me to be a gathering of people who are left or remain. I suppose I would have to read the rest of the chapter to get a better idea. I wonder what Christ would have to say about those who have written so much fiction such as the Left Behind series? Most likely these guys can afford to build a large bunker for themselves for the coming tribulation period. To me revelations is when the truth will reveal itself to all; Believers and Non-Believers. The Beast that was and is not and yet is could be a fictional character as an example of mankind's basic instincts and it's true origins. Remembering Cain and his decedents for example; To live like the Beast can have many interpretations, especially from the perspective of an advanced culture. How people will act during these chaotic times may prove prophetic because it again is human nature. All we have to do is watch the news to see the Chaos unfolding in the middle east. New Testament interpretations could be the laws of nature such as climate and other natural disasters. In many respects getting out of a city isn't such a bad idea either especially when there may be martial law and rationing. Thanks for the Link.

You need to read your Bible.
The catching away of the church, the bride of Christ is plainly written in God's Holy word.
Again I am one who does not and will not add to or take from Gods word with other books no matter who wrote them. I put my faith in God's word alone, not in man's. That includes you.
