we have a mamma's and papas booster seat for the car with a back that is removable for when child gets bigger

Make is irrelavant. Make sure it is suitable for your car. some cars have longer seatbelt straps than others. So you might come unstuck there.

DON'T buy secondhand unless you are 100% sure of the seat's history.

Ask the dealer to fit it for you and to show you how to. It only takes 5 mins but it is time well spent.

If you want to put the seat in the front make sure you can switch off the passenger airbag if you have one.

I just got a lovely pink one in Argos for £30 they also have blue
Looks quite sporty has 2 lots of fastenings so is really safe
