Here's a list of our likes and hates:

Me - Nothing overly salty or spicy, can't overdo dairy (slight allergy but some ok), and not a lot of whole grains (gas!). I love moist foods that go down fast - pastas, casseroles, SOUPS, sandwiches, salads.

Hubby: Hates plain food, likes very flavorful and spicy. Hates pasta as a main dish - typical man: likes big sandwiches and MEAT. Hates vegetarian foods but occasionally likes some oddball stuff.

Pasta is a sturdy thank you to stretch out a penny. Use butter and a few garlic to spice it up. A healthful portion of a cup for you and a cup and 0.5 for the hubby ought to be sufficient according to nighttime. Pair that with some stable vegetables (canned or frozen) and perchance some hen another nighttime. Soup is yet another stable thank you to stretch out a dollar. Take some carrots, hen broth, egg noodles (which you additionally can use for the "pasta" nights), and make some hand-crafted hen noodle soup. Salads are additionally yet another healthful/low fee way. stay away from bagged salads inspite of the indisputable fact that. purchase some versitile vegetables (like carrots and celery) to pass interior the salad and suitable with some hen. you would be able to as nicely make your guy or woman ranch dressing or get some cheapy shop kind which could final for a week or 2. stable luck. i comprehend it fairly is hard. i've got lived off of Ramen and that i comprehend that's sucks. wish the hubby unearths a activity quickly!
