im really nervous about getting braces and im scared that i wont look right with them but im stuck with them for 2 years. so please tell me what you thought when you first saw them...and what did other people think? THANKS!

I thought they were pretty cool.. it instantly reminded me of the movie Finding Nemo where that little red headed girl with braces that tries to take Nemo away.. A lot of my friends told me I look really cute with braces. Ive wanted braces for years... so Im happy with them.. just takes some time getting used to.

It wasn't so much how they looked, the new feel and general discomfort meant I wasn't that focussed on what they actually looked like, more what they felt like. Mine are ceramic and a bit bulkier than the metal ones. But I got used to them very, very quickly, the look and the feel. I get mine off in 3 days!

I loved my braces but I wanted to have perfect straight teeth. I got used to mine in about a week and then after that i really didn't notice them that much . Most of my friends got used to theirs quickly too.

There not as bad as you think so. A lot of my friends do complain but I don't care. It only might hurt a little when you chew when you first get them. for like a day mabye. i got it bad too. i got a medal box on the roof of my mouth that i'm gettin off soon (yes!!!) and i'm supposed to wear a mask to bed. its not that bad, just when food gets stuck... its very annoying

well it was hard first but now im used to it and its gona get out soon..it looks ugly and is annoying aswell..
