there is this boy i fancy and we never really talk, my mate said he said to her that hes going to ask me out do you know if shes lying or not and hes really shy around me and so am i, do you think he fancie me or not or my friend is trying win me up.

I don't know if anyone is lying or telling the truth, one would have to know the person. I don't think you should get overly excited about him asking you out because your friend might just be saying. I would wait until the guy himself actually asks you out before you believe anything that anyone else says. Your friend (I could be wrong) may be saying that to make you happy, she may even fancy him secretly. I knew someone who was shy around me and I was definitely shy around him. My "friend" told me that he was going to ask me out one evening at our church youth group. I got all dressed up and actually attempted to do my hair all cool and makeup really nice. He actually didn't show up that night at all and avoided me the next few weeks. It turns out that my so called "friend" told him a bunch of crap about me and told him that she liked him and that I was trying to hurt him. They were then dating. Maybe I had bad luck with "friends" but you never know what one might do to you to benefit them self.

If you have a small thought of what he feels like. It sounds like he likes you but is nervous. He may not have had great past relationship. He may be scared of what happens if he gets turned down by you. You will never know sweetie til you ask him or sit down and have a talk. Throw all of your shyness out of the window and go for it bab.
