I was recently pulled over for no seat belt and was unable to show proof of insuranceand so when i go in to pay my fine I have to show proof but at the time of getting pulled over I had no insurance from the start but the following day I went and put insurance on my vehicle, what does the court look at when bringing proof in, is it the date it went into affect and what could be my reason for my insurance going into affect the day after my violation and would they catch it

They may not even notice the dates since the proof of insurance cards only show the semi annual or quarterly renewal dates. Another piece of advice is to always wear your seat belt. I wouldn t worry about it. They might not even notice it. I didnt have my prrof of insurence when I got my speeding tickett. I never showed it either.
