my friend kept bragging that klitschko-wlliams was a fight of the year candideyt. is this true? i think it was not because it ended early.

Who is Williams? I thought Klitschko fought Ray Austin, and it certainly was no fight of the year! Is your friend on drugs?

Fight of the Year? If this were named the fight of the year, then I don't think the credibility of boxing still exists. This was not a fight, this was more of a thrubbing. Williams is a relative unknown who got off a lucky shot to Tyson. This was a beating, not a competition. This world title bout was shameful indeed.

I like Klitschko, but he has not been in any fight of the year. It will probably go to one of the lower weight classes.

Regardless of who wins the DeLa Hoya/Mayweather fight is already a lock for fight of the year.
Blogbaba doesn't agree with your friend, the Peters fight was a better fight than the Williams fight.

Me personally, I thought the fight stunk. Williams put up no fight, he got knocked out.
