It's on a copper-colored chain with a little noise maker on it that makes a little noise that drives dogs crazy. You can shake it or drop it beside the dog and it will train the dog in a very short period of time.

Are you talking about the Noisemakerdogtrainer?

Nah, just kidding. I think they are just called dog whistles.

Best wishes!

huh? there is no magic tool that "trains dogs". whatever you are talking about sounds like some kind of negative reinforcement, an awful noise that drives the dog crazy? why would you want to train that way? if you want to use a tool to train, get a clicker, a book or video on clicker training, and use positive training methods. the results you will get will amaze you. and then you'll have a dog that likes being trained and does things because he wants to, not because he is afraid of what will happen if he doesn't.

Any chain will work for this if you drop it on a hard surface. The dogs dislike the noise. But I would encourage you to use positive (rather than negative) reinforcement to train. It's much easier and faster (and more fun!).

I haven't heard of something you shake, but I have heard of clicker training and you can get them at PetSmart with a book on how to train your dog by using it. It's very effective if you keep up with it.

I've heard of click training a dog. you tell them to do something like sit or lay down, and when they do it, you click and then give them a treat. you can probably find them at any pet store or maybe in a toy section of a department store.

I think I know what your talking about, its square and it kind of like a bean bag. Your local pet store will know what your talking about.

don't know what you are talking about but i don't think inanimate objects can train dogs.
