I have had 2 delicious things made at home from heavy whipping cream... Morel Mushrooms in a creame sauce with steak and with broccoli and chicken and some spices as a pizza topping (instead of the regular tomato based sauce). Oh, another is whipping it up with bananas and putting it on waffles... but you said no whipped cream.

BANANA ICE CREAM

2 c. heavy whipping cream (1 Pint)
1 cup whole milk
1 inch split vanilla bean (optional)
2 eggs (whole)
1 c. sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 peeled bananas (medium)
Add whipping cream, whole milk, and vanilla bean in a pan and simmer for 15 - 20 minutes. Stir constantly and do not cover.
In a seperate bowl mix the eggs and sugar until well blended.

After the cream and milk has been simmering, take out the vanilla bean and add the egg/sugar mixture to the pan, maintaining the simmer and the stirring.

When this begins to thicken (approx 3-5 minutes) remove from heat, cover with seran wrap (tight to the mixture), and put in the fridge until completely cool.

Once cool add the bananas (diced), the mixture, and the vanilla extract into a blender and blend for 4 minutes on high or until it looks slightly frothy.

Immediately (do not let mixture settle) put this in your ice cream machine and chill per the machine's instructions. It will make just under 2 quarts, perfect for a 2 quart machine and to add in fixings per your pleasure (chocolate chips are great).

If you have a 1 quart machine either 1/2 the ingrediants or re-whip the 2nd half and process two batches.

Cream biscuits! I found this recipe a while back in my Fanny Farmer cookbook. I, too, had some cream to use before it expired so I figured what the heck--I'd give it a shot. I've tried every biscuit recipe known to man, and with the exception of cheating and using Bisquick, they all come out like hockey pucks. :( Not this one though--these are without a doubt the softest, moistest, flakiest biscuits out there. Kind of reminded me of the texture of KFC or McDonald's biscuits. (On the inside, that is. The outside was softer and smoother than those biscuits.) You won't be disappointed!

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 to 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1 stick unsalted butter, melted and cooled

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Slowly add 1 cup of the cream, stirring with a rubber spatula, to form a smooth dough. Add up to 1/2 cup additional cream if mixture is too dry, being careful not to overwork the dough or the biscuits will be tough.

Turn out onto a lightly floured surface and pat into a square, about 1/2-inch thick. Cut into 12 squares and dip into the melted butter to coat on all sides. Place on an ungreased baking sheet and bake until golden brown, 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from the oven and serve hot.

Makes 12 biscuits.

You can make homemade butter.

You can make a fruit shortcake and make whipped cream to go with it.

You can make ice cream.

You can use it to make a cream sauce for chicken and pasta using marinated dried tomatoes.

You can actually make an absolutely delicious cake that uses whipping cream instead of butter or oil in the recipe.
There are plenty of recipes for it online.

Homemade cream corn! You can use Corn on the Cob or Frozen Sweet Corn. Pour the HWC in a skillet, add the frozen sweet corn, bring to a boil then lower temp and stir until thickened (approx 10-12 mins). If you use Corn on the Cob, make sure you cook the corn as per instruction then place into skillet and proceed as directed above. Either way, it is delicious and not just your blah corn out of the can!

You can use it in any creamy sauce, like Alfredo or any cream of----soups, You can also use heavy cream as a frosting on a cake (whipped and sweetened first), topppings for anything--puddings fruit crisps cupcakes etc.etc., and you can certainly use heavy cream and make yourself some homemade ice-cream. (Vanilla and choco chip ice cream-yum)
You can make rice pudding. But, if your not into making sweets, I'd look into making that nice beef stroganoff with cream and sour cream, mushrooms, beef and then serve over rice or noodles.
Hope this helps you. Have a great day!

cream sauce
melt 2 tablespoons butter, blend in 2 tablespoons flour until smooth, add the cream and sprinkle in a dash of salt and pepper and simmer gently on very low heat until sauce thickens. This makes a basic white sauce. Add to this a cup or so of grated sharp cheddar cheese and continue to gently simmer until cheese melts. Good sauce for vegetables.

You can freeze it if you're not going to whip it. Then use it in a sauce as you like. Or, mix it with a couple of eggs, a small can of pumpkin, cinnamon, cloves, ginger and nutmeg and make a pumpkin custard. mmm.
