Well, the United Kingdom has roughly 60 million people, so if you want to take a conservative 3% of those to be gay, then the total would be: 1,800,000.
Doesn't that seem like a lot?

No. Nobody knows the exact figure of homosexuals in the world. Not in the UK either.
The questions that get asked on this board... sheesh.

Since a homosexual is probably being born every second somewhere in the world, it would be impossible to provide and exact figure.

like the others said, no one knows for sure. Considering some countries still punish it by death, it might be awhile before we find out too.
Most free societies seem to be somewhere between 3-10% homosexual.
