I'm tempted to call this guy I really like. I have told myself I will wait until next week (at least Monday) as I don't want to be seem too keen. We both like each other but what should I do? Shall I call him tomorrow Friday, or wait until Monday so I don't seem desperate? *sigh*

I think you can call Friday and not seem desperate. Just be casual about it. If he doesn't seem to have time to talk right then, be okay with talking later. Don't cling, don't make your happiness depend on how much or how often you talk with him. Be thrilled when you can talk and be grateful for the time you have alone to do what you want to do. Do what brings you joy in life and you will be attractive to others.
Remember that you and only you hold the key to your heart and your happiness. Share that happiness with whoever comes into your life.

it is thursday now. you last called wednesday (a week ago?)
if that is the case then 8 days is way to long. calling with in two days could seem a little too keen. but anything longer than four days between calls could seem like you are indifferent and don't care one way or the other.
so call him as soon as you can. though if he has your number and has not called you then i'd suggest you don't waste your time on a guy who may not seem to care.

Well you could go ahead but he may think you will do anything to get him so he may start to use you, thinking you don't mind since you will be the one making all the moves.
You could wait till Monday to see if he calls you at the weekend, he may give you a ring tonight who knows.
Question is if you wait and he doesn't ring why do you think that might be? Is he occupied elsewhere, if he likes you why is he not ringing, etc. etc. of course he may have a genuine other arrangement and will get back to you later.

I think that calling every day is a bit kind of intruding someone's life, but whatever. You don't call your grandparents every day, so just call him only a few times a week. If you call him every day, pretty soon the calls are going to get familiar and boring. So don't rush, you don't want the relationship to fizzle out too soon. Instead, chat on dates instead of over the phone.

Give him a jing! Call him tomorrow and casually ask what he's up to, and would he like to do something? Or just chat and see if it leads to making some plans to get together. Don't worry about seeming "desperate". That only goes if you call him constantly...it's pathetic when a person can't take the hint. Go for it!

Nice chat or not, he didn't seem to think so if he hasn't called you since last wednesday and isn't calling everyday to hear your voice. Lose his number!
