From the controversial accusations of her mistake regarding a kidnapped boy, Sylvia Browne has been put on the spot numerous occassions. Whether you believe or not, I can tell you that psychics are about 80% accurate in reality & DO make mistakes. Psychics are not perfect nor are they God in any way, merely they have a God-given gift. Sylvia Browne has helped so many other people in her line of work & despite her terrible mistake deserves forgiveness. I believe she is a good person & reading her books even she will tell you she is not perfect either. Anybody else tired of hearing people berate her just because they either don't believe in psychics and the paranormal or because of a couple mistakes? She isn't perfect you know...& she'll ADMIT to it, unlike most people in general...

no. I have deep suspicions of people saying their way of doing things is right (which you too can learn how for $19.95) and everyone Else's way is wrong. I have a deep suspicion of people who make fun of and demean others spiritual practices while trying to SELL their own.
Spirituality and the connection with the divine should be free for the asking and now whored out on a talk show as she has done. She is no better than the evangelical movement she just has a gift they refuse to acknowledge
Having that gift dosent make you a good person. I've seen more than enough horrible people with gifts like hers to know that

I do believe that there are true psychics out there, but Sylvia is an obvious fraud to me. She has made so many errors, and taken so much money from people that it's ridiculous. She has told people that their loved ones are dead, when they aren't. She has told people things that were really off and when they met up with these peole later they proved her wrong. My cousin actually paid for a face to face visit with her and she didn't get one thing right. I don't have a problem with people who are truly psychic charging people, since they have to make a living too, but she takes advantage of people.

And what you're saying doesn't even make sense. Why AREN'T psychics always incredibly accurate? If Sylvia Browne predicts that the Republicans will win in '08, and the Democrats win instead, how could she possibly get that wrong?

Why do people believe in these folks? People who are suffering come to her and she takes their money. If she is such a good person, why doesn't she get a real job and help people for free in her spare time? Because she isn't real. But believe what you want friend. We all cope with life in different ways.

i don't know if sylvia browne is psychic, or not, but i can tell u that i don't believe it. the Bible says that there are people out there who will fake this stuff.
plus, if u go to her website, it seems all she's after is your money.
so u can believe in her if u want, but I believe that I know who she is, and if u go to the above website, you'll see the tons of mistakes that she has made.

In just about EVERY high-profile case where she's made a prediction, she has been wrong--anyone remember the mine disaster when she claimed they were all alive?
I will only get tired of people berating her when she is finally exposed for the tragic joke that she is.

I gotta tell ya - I never tire of people "hating on" sylvia. she's suckering people and playing with their emotions.
and I DO believe in the ability to know things through non-standard sources, but this is just plain exploitation. I don't hate her, perse, but I certainly don't hold her in high esteem.

I think shes a phony and a fraud. I believe God makes certain people sensitive to his spirit and gives words of knowledge to people. But this woman makes a fortune off of grieving people. She should be investigated.

Psychics are full of nonsense. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of God be upon him) explained that the facts that psychics do get right are because of devils stealing information from angels, yet they mix a thousand lies with it.
In reality psychics are 90% inaccurate, and speak in vague terms that can carry tons of meanings. The coincidental times they get something right are either simply coincidental or from devils.

If she was on Yahoo Answers, would she be 80% correct in her answers?
