No...but that myth came about because a lot of women get a pretty good idea of whether or not they may be interested in sex with you, fairly quickly. I'd say 5 mins is a bit off the mark, although for some it may happen that fast or even faster...I wouldn't say that was typical.

Everyone's different...not in my book. My now fiance' and I started as friends. And, in all honesty, sleeping with him did not cross my mind even in the first 4 weeks, let alone 5 minutes.

That can't be true. I knew a girl for many years. After many years of saying she wasn't attracted to me she finally came after me on her 21st birthday. So much for 5 minutes.
We were together on and off for almost 10 years

no, who told you that?
I mean you can tell 5 min after meeting someone if you are attracted (physically) to them but you can't tell further than that.
I didn't know I was going to sleep with any of the guys i dated until I was dating them for awhile then it just happened.

sometimes...That is based on how long it usually takes a guy to open his mouth and make an *** out of himself- or not. Call it a first impression. Women are told to go with their gut instinct about a lot of stuff and first impressions can give them a bad feeling for you.

That depends on how big of a s l u t she is! Other than that it is a cliche, myth, an urban legend of sorts. I can assure you that no woman on YA will vouch for such an outlandish assumption.

It depends. I've gone on dates where I know that 'll never sleep with this guy. But I've also gone on dates where I knew that if the opprutunity came up, I wouldn't hesitate.

Yes and no. You know immediately whether or not that attraction is there.
But one time, at first it was a "no" but little by little over time, the guy charmed me into falling in love with him. Now we live together and I adore him!
