We see it happen very rapidly with smaller organisms. We have fossil evidence that shows it happening in larger organisms. Is there any godly way to explain this?

Tommy G: Tear this apart. There are thousands of fossils that show transition from one species to another. On the smaller scale, we can see this in less complex animals because of their quick reproduction.
I want you to google sockeye salmon in Washington. This species was introduced to a lake in Washington some 70 years ago. It has already evolved into two completely separate species because of breeding habits. Take that apart.

Change within a kind isn't evolution, it's speciation. This involves the loss of genetic information. Evolution requires that new information arise in order for new kinds of animals to form, this never happens.

No one denies that the phenomena of adaptation occurs. The idea of particle to person evolution is untenable, there are and have never been any documented occurrences of an all new body type like the supposed transition from one phyla to something never seen before. So-called evolution has failed to show even a single new genus much less anything else. If an angelfish suddenly changes markings enough that it can be considered a new species it doesn't change the fact that it is still a fish. I often see people on here refer to adaptation of flu viruses as proof of evolution, as this is not doing a very good job of killing us why doesn't it turn into an invisible creature that is only found in our closets that kills immediately upon opening the door this would be far more efficient.

By definition, the change of an organism is called evolution. It is just another word for change.
Physically, the change is implemented when the sequence of atoms that makes up DNA is modified. Even a change of few atoms can significantly change the organism, regardless of how big or small it is. The DNA works akin to a computer code, directing the assembly of the organism from many microscopic parts. The basic mechanics of the process are rather well understood.
What makes DNA change? Your DNA copies itself when you generate the cells from which your descends will arise. Many events can cause the copy to be different from the original, from radiation and exposure to chemicals. In organisms that reproduce sexually - basically everything you can see with a naked eye - the DNA copy process is actually rigged in a way to introduce differences in the descendents. This is called chromosomal transposition. Even organisms who reproduce without sex - e.g. bacteria - have tricks for introducing "copy errors" when they copy their DNA. If you wonder why, consider this - an organism who is incapable of change will eventually die, because the environment changes rather drastically over time. Virtually every living thing on Earth is geared for change, and this change is implemented through the chemical reactions that govern DNA copying.
As to whether this is a godly explanation or not, think of it this way - everything that happens in this world is the will of God. Science just tries to understand how this will is implemented.
If it makes you feel more comfortable, consider that the basic sequence of events in Genesis is overall similar to what scientific evidence tells us about the history of life. Maybe it did not happen in seven days, but who are we to tell what is the measure of one of God's days to us?

Stephen J you don't have the slightest idea what you are talking about, speciation is when a sub population of a species changes enough that it can no longer interbreed with the parent population. No "loss of genetic information" involved.

Show me one constantly changing. Which evolution are you speaking of? You can't speak so vaguely or I will take you apart.
Ten to one you put them together for three years and they will assimilate back to one species. The fossils are not proof. They are circumstantial because they are dependent on interpretation. Fast breeding and breeding selectively are not evolution. That is only the base that the whole theory is badly built on because we all know we can breed for certain things. These qualities are already there we simply breed for that as a dominant trait. No no forms of life have occurred since man has been studying science. Don't give me the millions of years stuff about slow change. the Cambrian period shows that species seemed to explode.

Very good question. Evolution is all around us everyday.
If you put a wet clean towel inside a plastic bag and wait 2 weeks what do you think will happen??
how did that happen?
God did it?

Sure!
There is plenty of "micro-evolution" going on; genetic variability, etc.
Its the "macro-evolution" that is a silly and absurd farce...
