The Highlights MIGHT Work Or Make The Problem Worse, Try Using This: Get A Golden Blonde Hair Color And Apply It To Damp Hair (Just Wet Your Hair And Towel Dry) Then, Watch Your Hair CAREFULLY (Strand Test) Untill The Gray Disappears Then, Rinse, Shampoo And Condition. Next Time, Use A Beige Or Champagne Blonde With A Little Golden Blonde Mixed-In (1/2 Oz.) - Good Luck!

Not a good idea!!! did that once myself and the highlights actually dried my hair out so badly that it started to break off!!! Wait 2 days then get a different dye and try again. Use alot of conditioner in those two days and leave it in for a long time!!! High lightener is very hard on the hair and should not be use before until 2 weeks after coloring

Because I can not see/feel your hair, I can not tell you how much damage you may have done to your hair. If you used a box dye you would have done more dammage than if you had gone to a beauty supply store like Sallys and purchased your dye there. However, my above comment is based on if you followed directions properly or not. You are going to want your base color to be the color you start with BEFORE highlights. Highlights strip even more color from your hair and can possibly in some situations be more damaging. Knowing my hair and how I have messed up a few times, I know that I was able to dye it again with in 24 hours and it was fine. However, I suggest that you go to your stylest and ask them to correct it for you. If done wrong your hair may become very brittle and break off very very short and you wouldent want to inadvertantly pull a "Britney". A hair stylest will be able to tell you if it can be corrected if you have to wait. It is very anoying (and believe me I understand) when a hair color does not do what you want it to do. If I were you, I would not try to correct this on your own because I assume since you are on here asking this question you are new to the do it yourself hair dying world. For your own health and saftey sink the money into having it corrected by the pros. and when its time to dye your hair again you can try it again yourself. Over time, you will be able to figgure out what your hair can handle and how you can correct mistakes yourself. I always worry about the stylists that get on here and tell people how to correct it from home only because if its done wrong YOUR the one that is stuck with the outcome. Good luck.

I think it would be better if you go and get it corrected my hairstylist. I learned that the hard way. Adding home kit highlights to my home kit color made my hair turn green.

YOUR FIRST MISTAKE SORRY TO SAY WAS EVER USING ASH BLONDE, IT DOES MAKE THE HAIR TEND TO LOOK GRAY , WHICH US WOMEN DO NOT WANT, SO MY SUGGESTION TO YOU IS TO TRY AGAIN BUT USE A GOLDEN BLONDE, WHICH WILLL COME OUT MORE BLONDE THEN GRAY....GOOD LUCK

shade would not get rid of shade. the colour you acquire purely affected your roots using fact is the only section that grow to be no longer till now taken care of. the only thank you to get your hair back to organic is to bleach. this could be a perplexing technique as your hair has 2 distinctive colours on the 2d. i could opt to advise you against bleach for the reason which you latterly used Feria. Feria incorporates steel salts that react violently with bleach. Your care ought to turn an unnatural shade, smoke, and/or destroy off. i'm no longer exaggerating. i'm a hairdresser and it actual occurred to me as quickly as. What you would be able to desire to do is pass to a expert. tell them you used Feria and ask them to do a strand attempt. in case you insist on doing it your self, I highyl advise strand finding out to stay away from a disaster. do no longer practice bleach directly to the scalp. in case you opt to shade, you will would desire to apply a shade it somewhat is a minimum of as dark as your darkest piece to cover each and every thing and get it uniform.

Yes. The areas that you use the highlight on will be really blond. Be careful you will have to watch the clock because you will be overprocessing your hair. The chance of breakage is GREAT!
