A friend ask me to find the meaning of his surname TIOTIS. I have tried looking with out success. Does any one with the same surname knows the meaning or anyone can recommend a free website I can look up

Hmm.. interesting.. usually I'm pretty good at doing research, but I haven't been able to come up with anything. Is your friend of another nationality, or what is his heritage? I would imagine with a last name like that, it could be an old family tribe name, or something of the sorts. If that's the case, you'll never find it on the net. He might have to ask his parents or grandparents what it means.

I couldn't find it either. It could have change if his family changed countries to move here or something. So the spelling could be different, which would make it even harder to find. He should ask his relations if they know anything about it.
