I think that you can, however any local electric shop should be able to make you one.

You should be able to buy an adaptor that will take the signal from the player and "broadcast" it on channel 3 or 4 on a cable right to the TV. Radio Shack used to carry a couple of types. Called an RF Converter or Adaptor or modulator
Search 'scart RF modulator' and get lots of internet choices.

You can do this, but not with just a simple cable. Places like Radio Shack can supply things like "modulators" which can convert the outputs of most DVDs to an RF input for an older TV with only an RF (aka. Coax, or Antenna) connector. Best to take your DVD with you to the store to be sure what you buy will fit at least one of the output types on your DVD. (Most fancy DVDs have several types of outputs) Probably your best choice will turn out to be using the A/V output jacks on your DVD (Usually yellow, white, and red) to connect to your modulator. Mat electronics (on the web) sells one for under $10.00, but I think they have a minimum order of around 25.
Many do not support the stereo sound, but if your TV is monaural, it will not matter, anyway. Good luck. I have done this many times
