I like to think that I can dish it out and take it. I might be wrong, however...

Do I mock?

*thinking*

But no, it doesn't bother me. I usually play along and the mocker gets frustrated because I'm NOT getting frustrated.

No, because you are really mocking the person the mocker is mocking.

I'll leave it to others to judge whether I'm a "mocker" or not (I think not, I only lay into self-defining idiots), but you can mock me all you like. Gimme your best shot. You'll regret it.

If I can't stand a bit of mockery then I need to get out of the kitchen (sorry for the mixed metaphor). As long as the mockery is not personal mockery and is actually somewhat logical in it's derision, there isn't anything wrong with it. But to mock the PERSON who mocks... is not right.

Depends on the mocker, the protesting mocker, or the counterprotesting mocker.

I am not one of the mockers. But I would have to say yes. It hurts when their tactics to draw attention away from them backfires. It is easier to tell someone else about the chinks in THEIR armour than it is to fix the chinks in your own. I thin it also stems from the "Look at him not me" syndrome. They want you to question the other person's beliefs not theirs. The person accusing is usually the same person committing the offence. but of course, you'd notice that if they weren't busy pointing someone else out.

I love it when people mock me! It makes me laugh. Look at my questions and you'll see I'm a glutton for punishment

Yeah it doesn't usually feel good being mocked.

That sounded REALLY funny when I imagined you saying it in the Muppets' Swedish Chef voice.
