If you have the faith you would not attribute that faith by doubting God. If you have the faith it is because of HIM and His Word. If you doubt you are opperating in the flesh and God is not to be blames for your shortcomings or setbacks. He has given you everything you need to be a sucess in this life and in the life to come. He has made you a king in Christ but have you received His anointing to hold thid divine office and priesthood? That too is received only by FAITH!!!

There is a spiritual war in this world according to the bible. People don't know it but Satan through his demons is constantly feeding thoughts and sometimes inducing feelings to get people down, or thinking wrong ideas. He is characterised as being seductive but utterly unprincipled so you've got to swim or start sinking.

As a christian you have to learn to do various activities to counteract this - prayer, reading the Word, fellowship, taking the communion/mass, otherwise your faith withers. I've been through withering periods, where I foolishly didn't bother to do the things I was supposed to do to maintain the connection with God.

Man becomes bitter not God. God allows free will. That means he lets the human make the choice. God did not make religion, man did. God loves all not matter what and it is man's choices that happen in this world. He wants us to improve so we come to this planet called earth as it is very difficult. all of us here are very smart or we would not come here.

To become a better creature in Christ, you are supposed to die to yourself and live through him. So in answer to your question, people aren't supposed to lose faith, but instead strengthen it and follow Him. People usually lose faith because they have been hurt, or have been fed lies about God. But it's through those times that believers usually (and are supposed to) run towards God, not away from Him.

I don't know why. Something we need to remember is that God has given this world over to Satan. So, Satan can do a lot of things to cause ppl to doubt God. God uses people to try to bring others to Him, but sadly they can fail and hurt those ppl and embitter them toward God, that isn't God's fault, the fault belongs to the person for not being loving.

I can't think of any other situations like that, but I know that God does want everyone to follow Him, and that He does provide a way for everyone to know Him, it just may be harder to find.

God does not force you to keep having faith. Once the gift of faith comes you will be attacked more then ever to throw it away. God does not believe for you, you have to believe.

There are stages to faith...first blind faith...then disillusioned (where the reach search comes in)...and then a higher faith.

I have heard of many going through this.

One day you may return to that religion - but with a higher understanding and faith.
