Men do not think like women! Women talk, talk, talk, sharing every little experience of their lives. Men need (that's right need) to be left alone so they can think their own thoughts without being overwhelmed by a chatter box who sees the world from an entirely different perspective. That he didn't call you while he was ill means only that he's a perfectly normal male. Men simply don't share their feelings, not even with other men. Your question implies you're anxious because your man doesn't think like a woman.

most guys dont like being ill it reduces their "man power" so he was proberbly trying not to sound like a whimp in front of the girl. dont worry once he's better it will be back to normal!!

It depends. what's their relationship. a guy should be considerate of his partner and let her know he is o.k. he should somehow contact her if he really respects her. it's just considerate.
if their relationship is not gf/bf then maybe not depending on how good a friends they are.
he could ignore her but there would be hurt feelings.

Most guys don't like to be babied when they are sick. My husband says just get away from me and leave me alone. He isn't ignoring you, he may of really been sick.
