I had 6 of my coworkers look around and feel the right testicle when I was in the hospital for a week. These nuses took care of me during their shifts. I just have a funny feelng when talking with these workers.

What you are feeling is totally normal! However, try to put it in perspective. You were a patient and they were taking care of you...not really visualizing your "parts". Have you ever taken care of a coworker or friend? Do you remember how you felt about it? You probably thought nothing of it...only about helping them get well.

As a nurse myself, I can tell you that your co-workers were concerned with your well being (and having to work short staffed without you...LOL) and never thought anything about what they saw.

You are not crazy. You are embarrassed about what was an embarrassing situation for you but, believe me, they never thought of anything except what needed to be done to get you well.

I agree. What you're feeling is a normal reaction. After all, these are your coworkers. But in times of crises and need, we see eachother as patients not friends or coworkers. In time, I hope you'll get over the feeling. Think of it this way - now they are better acquainted with you than before.

Picture this: One of my coworkers sees our Medical Director, who maintains a private practice, as a pt. He's seen it all! Every square inch of her. Yet she maintains a very good and professional relationship with him when at work. They both are comfortable with it. This a little too weird for me but it can be and is successfully done.

Forget about it. Imagine how an employee of the hospital feels when they give birth in the same hospital they work in --
Bottom line, it's no big deal!
