Laugh and cry at the absolute mess people have made of this Earth.

If he exists then it is one of two things. Wizzing round the universe he created watching things evolve and thinking yo thats the way I planned it. Or sitting as some think listening to their prayers thinking why am I listening to this this is exactly what I planned to happen and the pray wont change a thing.
I dont think he exists so hes doing nothing or smoking a joint in a comic book that I havent written yet.
Some people seem to think he is wasting rime watching over people performing miracles. That is actually against their vision of God. If he was performing miracles that would mean things where happening that he didnt envisage and that would make him inperfect and you cant have an inperfect got so that statement negates god being there anyway. If you think he does that you dont believe in god you fantasize about god existing.
And if got exists on a completely diffrent plane of existance that brings string theory into play and string theory negates god as everything possible to happen will happen and god wouldnt be needed.

Exactly...this is why i believe there is no God...yes we should suffer pain but isnt lossing someone enough pain and God does that to us. So why does he let people suffer. If there were a God I belive that he wouldnt let people suffer anytmore than others.
Or is he just letting us make our own mistakes...but our mistakes are destroying this world he apparently created ( Global Warming For instance)
I now on the Sunday he rests but otherwise there is no biblical symbol of what God does each day except answer prayers.
This is the reason I arent sure if there is a God or not..I've just got to find out.

While its true that much of the Universe is set up to run semi-mechanically, God must be thinking a billion, billion, billion, ... things. Jesus says in the bible that God knows how many hairs each of his anxious disciples had, and the same must apply to all humans. It says in Ephesians that He holds the whole thing together (Jesus actually, for whom the Creation was made, and who is God's Word.), so the Universe is clearly not just a machine that runs like a computer.

He's probably most interested in higher creatures relationally. So for christians he's listening to each, wanting to help each with their issues. With non-christians He's trying to find ways to help them believe, but needs the prayers of christians to do this. Satan and his angelic co-fiends are of course opposing, as well as men's natural inclinations to pride and selfishness, so its not the sweetly-working harmony that it will be when Christ comes again.

Well. I guess since time is a human concept - there is no "all day" for God. I guess we think of God as a bit like Superman, able to give mankind help if he knows it's happening!
Personally, i think the phrase "God created Man in his own image" is pretty close to the truth. I think we have the capacity to become God-Like; I think we were given these gifts and just havent worked out what to do with them yet; we are on the way, by seeking a cure for cancer; by attempting to resolve the ever-present problem of world hunger; by delving deeper and deeper into what our minds are capable of; so I think god must spend a lot of "time" working hard to show us the way, and banging his head off the wall in despair at our stupidity.

He tries to lead as busy a life as possible.

He likes to sleep in until mid-day, then goes to the shop for a paper and 20 Benson and Hedges. Has his breakfast, watches the horse racing on channel 4. Then watches countdown.
In the evening he goes to his local for a few pints and gets chucked out after he vomits on the pool table. He gets a bag of chips and goes home.

God stuff.

GOD declared that we must suffer for our disobedience.

Well, actually not suffer, but suffer in the NATURAL WAYS OF THE WORLD.

Had we stuck with God, he'd have taken care of everything. Since we stopped following his ways, he stopped taking care of things.

We are NOW on our own, because THAT's the way WE wanted it.

'God works in a mysterious way, his wonders to perform'!!!
Cant think where that came from or why it just popped into my head!
But it should cover all your answers from the religious crowd?
Take my word for it, this baiting is entertaining to start with but it really does get really boring when you have covered it all, and collected a lot of violations on the way.
Been there done all that!

why do we need to relate gods life to our own. who is to say that your god does not exist on a completely different plane of existence, he is omnisciences, he knows all and sees all, hence he cannot exist anything like us as it it impossible for a man to think of more than 7 things at a time (9 for a women)
if you are religious then merely by asking what God does with his day shows either a weakness in your faith or a lack of understanding in what God is.
unless this was meant to be a joke...
