No, read the "Parable of the Periodical Son" Luke 15:11-24.
I also was a christian in my youth, and I got and got away from my prayers, church attendance, and got spiritually cold.
After realizing where I was and where I needed to be, I found me a church and an alter, The Lord has blessed me every since.

If he exists, then he created you knowing that this would happen, so don't worry it is all a part of his plan. Just understand that its people like you and I that are needed to stoke the fires of hell. That is the only answer for our creation by a God that is all knowing.........
