its quite hard to explain, but you want to be with them all the time, you'd do anything for them, you feel a part of you is missing when your not together.

Love is the emotional response to desiring to be with a person. Not sex not caring for not attraction. But the will to want to be with a person in the flesh. Not to be with in a dating stance but to be with to hold and nurture and take care off.

here's how i showed what i thought love was to my ex who still says i didn't really lover her.

love is checking up on the other constantly.
love is doing things for the other person whether they really want to or not.
love is driving them to work whenever they asked, even though it was out of my way.
love is telling them they are beautiful when you see them wake up.
love is driving out at 12:30 am to pick her and her dumb friend who had gotten herself kicked out of her house so they would freeze to death in the middle of a Chicago winter.
love is going out to see them so many times in a day whenever they asked you too, even though it was affecting your sleep and work habbits.
love is putting up with the other person's mood swings

love is a lot of work, but you know when its there. and once their you'll enjoy it while it lasts.
