you probably had the wrong date. check the date, especially the year, that could throw off day lights savings time. you can also change the clock but playing around with the menu option.

Unfortunately with the new change you'll have to do the following:

1. Today, set your clock to the correct time.
2. When the original time change date happens your clock with then move ahead one hour by itself.
3. After Step 2 occurs, reset your clock the correct time.
4. When the original time change happens again (and again, and again) you will need to do the same process.

There is no way to tell most systems that the date of the time change has been moved. Therefore you will always have to manually fix the time at least 4 times a year.

Good luck!

VCRs with autoclock, reset their clocks with time information which is broadcast along with other information during the retrace interval on PBS (Public Broadcasting Service) television stations. In order for your VCR to do it's reset, you need to have it connected to a source that includes a PBS station in your time zone. Don't worry if you do not know what the retrace interval is; it's just techno jargon. Oddly enough, most of them do the reset only when the VCR is turned off, and it will not happen instantly, because the VCR may have to search around the channels for a while untill it finds the PBS station. Of course, if the PBS station it picks up is in another time zone, it will display the time for that zone.

Once you turned off the daylight saving, go to setup and you will find a feature to change the time. There is no need to change the zone.

Try changing the time zone. That should fix it.

I have the same problem. Throw it away and buy a new one.
