When I was about 13 I kept getting sties. My aunt told me to dab them with cod liver oil. That was decades ago and I've never had another one.

The best thing to do with stys is to boil some water and add some salt, and nurse the eye with cotton wool. I had a sty at the weekend and its the best thing to get rid of it. - do it a couple of times a day and it should clear up quickly!

Styes are infected mucous-secreting glands on the edges of your eyelids. A bump on the white of your eye is not a stye.

I know you said "next to your eyeball", but you also said "the white of your eye", so if you mean the bump is on the white of your eyeball, see a doctor.

Old granny remedy, rub a plainn clean, gold ring over the lower part of you eye several times a day til it is gone.
REALLY WORKS

be sure to see a Dr. but I used to have to apply super hot tea bags for 20min intervals to draw out infection and control pain

go to the docters they will give u the antibiotics u will need or they might chop it off if its bad!x!
