will it be safe to bring another pup in after its had all its shoots and i have bleached everythign and cleaned anywhere a dog can go. i am not sayin i will listen to what ya'll say beucase i ahve already discussed this with the vet and they think it wil be fine after its had all shots and the dog will never go outside so it will be house trained 100% and only see outside when its in my arms. it will never touch the ground

I think you need a cat, not a dog. Dogs actually like outside. Cats do too, but they're easier to keep in. Personally, after losing two dogs to parvo, getting another one just seems extremely selfish. You should move first, then get a dog, one that can actually go outside to potty.

As long as everything is properly cleaned your new pup should be safe. I am sorry to hear about your other two, I hope all goes well with the new one. You sound like you are going to be a responsible dog owner. May I also suggest that if your dog will be 100 % inside try and litter box train it. They have special dog litter and I trained mine and it is great. Just a little FYI.

I have a Golden who was losing TONS of hair to the point where it obviously wasn't a shedding problem. I took her to the vet and found out she had a thyroid problem combined with a skin disorder that is common with her breed. The problem is correctable with medication. I don't know what breed you have, but you have to take your dog to the vet before things get worse. People on the internet can't diagnose your dog's exact problem. One more thing, flea and tick shampoo usually doesn't eliminate flea/tick problems. The nasty little bugs just jump right back on your dog next time he goes out. Your vet will be able to provide you with inexpensive, effective flea/tick medications. Hope this helps.

Well 1, why are you asking us then? :)
Secondly, once your new pup has been vacinated, they should be fine to roam around the yard and inside the house, but thats only after all vacinations are complete.
Adult dogs can carry parvo as well, so make sure that you are washing your hands and clothing during its vacination period if you have contact with other dogs, especially adult ones as Parvo in adult dogs isnt nearly as bad as it is in puppies.
Good luck.

so then why are you asking us but i think your vet is on glue my vet told me the same thing and my dog(s) still died of parvo it is and airborne virus no amount of cleaning will get ird of it. But its your choice if you want to take the chance of killing another dog by all means bring one in your house.

Your dog will never go outside... never touch the ground... your dog, and you, are going to be miserable.
