I would like to know the physics and techniques of elbow strikes for the normal martial arts methods and more preferably the Kung fu methods. Any links to pages with instruction of the Kung fu method will be greatly appreciated.

Get in a good stance. Rotate at the hip and fire the elbow from your chamber. Simple.
You can do a roundhouse elbow, rising elbow and dropping elbow.
Ask you instructor for me detail and demonstrations.

how about finding a good teacher and learning that way.

you can't learn anything on the internet.

you need a teacher to correct you and show you the tiny detals that will make the difference between making the technique work, and not.
