Years back I know this guy who wanted to be a cop. so he would hang around them . Then there was an opening in this small town , the guy didn't score high on the test there was someone else who did. The guy wa sgiven thje job because the cheif liked him and didn't want the gal to get the job even though she was working in the department. So this guy gets the job, after a time he leaves and goes to a bigger force stays there awhile. Then goes on to the city to be a cop. Oh besides that he has taken from a former employer. He smoked grass too. But his family thinks he 's the greatest because he's a cop. They think his brother is crap because he never got the breaks,

There are alot more than just one test to become an officer, you have to pass several oral interviews, a psych exam, a polygraph test, and an extremly intrusive background check. Those are just the beginning tests, if you make it through all of them then you must pass physical tests of endurance and strength, and go to a police academy which lasts about 6 months. So the guy must have done something right because even if the chief liked the guy he still has to be qualified. Besides why would all of those other agencies hire him if he was no good. As for the brother you have to make your own breaks in your life because no one else will.

At the risk of sounding like a dick, life isn't fair. Secondly, nobody is perfect even cops. As for the brother its sad, but that's an issue he has to work on with his parents.

Becoming a cop isnt all about scoring high on some test.

She could have screwed up her oral interviews.

..and what? He beat you out for the job because you wanted it? Quit whining. Try asking something constructive for a change instead of snivelling over some guy who no one gives a damn about.

Crybaby.
