TRUE STORY!
One time someone asked me if I work alone? I said no I work in a small office with two other people. She looked at me funny and said it again.. louder.. as if i hadn't heard "NO.. do you work alone??" I said.. no.. I just told you.. small office.. 2 other people. When she asked the third time she rephrased it. What had she been asking me.

The answer is backward.. dont look if you want to figure it out yourelf. When you say it quickly.. (with the right accent) you cannot tell the difference between the two.

I had a simular one that was a little more risque - I was telling a co-worker, at an off-site meeting about a new form that would help with a particular issue. At one point, I swore she just blurted out "orgasm?" It was a question like an offer - like a waitress might offer "coffee?" She saw that I was flustered and not responding, and repeated with a more complete thought, "Does work have those forms?" (She had mumbled the first question, "Work has them?") After I was done turning red, I finally answered her question.

LOL This is hilarious! It is funny how people from different places have different accents... I believe the funniest thing is... they don't realize you actually DON'T understand them!
