Types and pictures of ceramic tiles?

I am looking for names and pictures of ceramic floor tiles so I can know which one i want.

Speaking from experience, just renovated my bathrooms and now the kitchen, pictures of tiles dont do justice.

Your best option would be to go down to your local tile store, home depot or lowes and just look through the types of tile they have on hand.

I dont recommend purchasing the tile from home depot because of the hardness rating on their tile makes it that it will only last a year or two before problems start.

The only thing you really need to have in mind is the style of the room you are going for. The place my contractor sent me to to pick out tile was huge. Literally thousands of types and styles of tile to choose from.

you can go to vestaltile.com and click on the products link. That will bring up multiple brands of tile. Two of the mfgs Crossville and Florida have design centers where you can pick a style, color and size and place it on a floor or wall to see what a completed project will look like. You can also scan in a picture of your room and do the same thing.

You can also go to lowe's.com or homedepot.com & look at tiles on line. You can get prices & a calculator to determine how much you'll need.
