I don't know about the stress relieving properties of fruit consumption in humans, but no... monkeys are not "unstressed" because they eat fruit. In general, monkies are rather high strung, actually. In the wild, most monkies are prey animals for larger predators, plus they are high energy and highly active. I think your motivational person is blowing some smoke up a place it is rude to mention, if you catch my meaning.

it may be true that fruits have calming effects on primate species... but it is far from the truth that monkeys are calm.

monkeys are mischievous, curious, and trying creatures, they are active more so than not, actively searching for food and safety.

in captivity, monkeys need alot of attention and distraction, lest they become restless and destructive.

so, it may not be a great example

there is nothing calm about a monkey. They are very excitable, violent, noisy and dangerous. Diet does not have anything to do with the personality of a species.

Ummmm....... Sounds like BS to me. I would ask this person where their data came from. But diet can have an effect on your mood, eat healthy and be happy, eat crap and feel crappy.
