I am completely and utterly in love with this man. He's my best friend's step brother (and don't worry she's totally okay with it), but, I've told him I liked him, I eventually invited him to my birthday party with my best friends, and I sometimes IM him. He's got all the signs. He's jittery around me, he talks about anything and everything when I'm around, and he's invited me over even when my friend is not there. I can't tell if he doesn't like me or is just shy. It'd be much appreciated if a guy would give me their realistic opinion. I' like to know, because my birthday is next Tuesday.

Why don't you ask your best friend? You are going to have this discussion with him or her sometime soon anyway. maybe that is the problem. You don't say if your best friend is male or female. Maybe your best friend likes you and the step brother knows that. What is the age difference? Is that a problem? It sounds like he likes you but there is some reason he is holding back from what you say.

My guess is that he is self-conscious and shy, which makes it hard for him to freely express his inner thoughts and feelings. That's why he is jittery. He wouldn't invite you over if he didn't like you. Why does this have anything to do with your birthday? Are you considering a 'private' celebration? Enjoy!

i don't know what ur birthday has anything to do with it but, ok what u should do is invite him to ur party. then play spin the bottle. make sure the bottle is really dark so no one can see through it. then get a remote control golfball. control it to spin to your guy. then ur home free!! it works best with a metel can that has an arrow on it to point, cuz u can fit the golfball inside it. ;)

We don't know. Well I don't anyways. Different guys have different ways to tell you they like you. Would YOU reather get this relationship started? If so, then you say something. Ask what he feels about "us" and whatnot. Otherwise, he'll tell you when he is ready.

easy question...he's too shy to make the first move.He's waiting for you to.Here 's how to do it.Sit down with him on the sofa and watch a movie and when the timing is right grab his chin and turn his head towards you and lay one on him.He will love you for it.You go girl!

its obvious. he wants you bad but feels he cant because of his step sister. he doesnt want to upset her by going out with you. i think she might have to say something here or nothing will happen. be gentle with him to begin with and everybody will win. good luck :)
