she got out her first week of season (she was bleeding) we couldn't find her for 2 hrs. since then she hasn't been out of our sight 3 weeks ago. hopefully she didn't get with another dog but her breast have gotten alittle larger and i am worried that this may be a pregnancy, her stomach has not changed in any way, what do you think. (this was the first time she came in season. we do not want to bread her and we are planning to have for spayded in the next month.

She probably is not pregnant, but I would get her spayed ASAP. There may be a small charge for spaying if she is pregnant, but it is a lot cheaper than raising puppies. Most dogs cannot conceive (and will not even breed) until the second week of the cycle, but their are exceptions to every rule.

Why wait for next month? Dogs can be spayed as young as a few months of age. Even if she did mate with another dog, she can still be spayed if you do it quickly.

Anyway, when a dog first comes into heat, it is basically them going through puberty. So if you have noticed her teats have become larger, it is simply because of this. Unspayed female dogs that are not pregnant will have large mammary glands than dogs that are spayed. If you spay her now, they will probably shrink in size. Well good luck with your dog!

whilst my canines have been domestic dogs - they have been diggers. So, I strengthened my chain link fence with a radio fence. I buried the line only outdoors the fence (so the canines won't have the ability to dig it) and experienced them on the beeps and the marvel collar. That did it. the different earnings is that if the gate gets left open via twist of destiny - he remains unlikely to go away the backyard. as quickly as I put in the fence - I examined it via surprising myself on it. It feels like an fairly undesirable static electric powered marvel. It did no longer injury. yet I examined the fence on all 4 aspects and via the time I have been given to part #4, i became no longer looking forward to getting very much bowled over via it. you need to purchase the kit at abode Depot and installation it your self. I did it for sort of $3 hundred.00.

there is a very good chance that she was bred and since it has been three weeks already you should be expecting puppies. If you call to schedule a spay...be sure to give the vet office the whole story. I would NOT schedule a dog nearly halfway thru a pregnancy.

take her to a vet. the can do an ultrasound to see if she is pregnant. if she is and you catch it in time you can still have her spayed and the pups disposed of. if you want the pups then just wait about 6 to 7 weeks and then you will know if shes pregnant or not

They dont start filling out til 15 mo.s. Maybe you should buy a book on your breed. I bought one when we bought dobermans & it was very helpful in many areas.
