I am on a team, raising money for relay for life and we need to raise as much as possible. I hope to do something where I do not have to purchase any product up front because I have already donated money and now will be donating time...
I need ideas for fundraisers... like volunteering at a resturant and using the tips for the fundraiser... things like that.

I have tons of ideas for you.
For starters, have you written letters to your family and friends asking them to donate? I suggest starting there.
You could also ask places where you spend your money to sponsor you....your doctor, dentist, hairdresser, favorite restaurant, etc.
If you work in an office you could have a casual dress day where your coworkers pay to wear jeans for a day. You could also host a pot lunch work, where everyone brings a dish into the office and everyone pays $5 to enjoy the lunch.
If you are still in school, you could host a tournament like kickball or dodgeball, where teams have to pay a fee to enter.

u can go to the relay for life website for ideas on fundraisers. my EAST class did a cookbook that we r going to sell for $10
