Losing weight is one of the biggest nightmares in the world.
I have advised a few friends on it and I'll just go through my idea quickly. I hope it may help.
The most important thing is to first make sure that you will lose the weight. Make your self believe it. It will work. Not maybe, YES!
Think very carefully about healthy food that you really like and plan a diet based on those. DO NOT go on any diet that you don't really enjoy because it WILL NOT work.
Now think about exercise. Is there an exercise you really enjoy. DO NOT do anything you don't like because you think it will help. You will procrastinate and never do it.
Here are some that you might consider...
Hiking. Swimming. Bicycling. Canoeing.
Remember that it has to be enjoyable or it won't work. And you have to be totally confident. Don't think about if it will work. KNOW that it will work.
I hope this will help. Good luck.

The solution is what everyone does not want to hear. Eat right and work out. I eat 5 meals a day so I am never hungry, this is important because you shouldn't be hungry it slows down the metabolism and adds to weight gain. Incorporate lots of fruits and veggies, no one ever got fat from eating too much of those. Work out at least 3 times a week for at least 30 minutes a day. I work out five times a week for at least 45 minutes eaach time. Also make sure you are adding weights to your workout, its important when losing weight. I have stayed away from bread and cut back alot on my sugar especially chocolate which I love! I only allow myself to have sugar on fridays it's my cheat day. Cheese can also add to weight gain and it's not that good for you body in general. You can switch to maybe feta or goat cheese those are a little better for you. Also try not to eat before going to bed that's a huge contributor to weight gain. I have been doing these things for a couple of months and had to go out and buy all new pants cause all of mine are falling off!

Don't buy a dress that is too small for you no matter how much weight you think you can loose! Don't eat after 6:30 PM and try to walk at least a mile five or six days a week. Stop eating once you feel full, don't overstuff. Don't starve yourself, either and don't be too hard on yourself if you don't make your goal by your wedding day. Any progress with weight loss is good. All brides are beautiful, I think, no matter what size they are.

I am also trying to lose weight for my wedding. The most important thing is to remember that he wants to marry you at the size you are now. When I asked my fiancee about how he felt about my weight, he said to me "I want you. I don't care what size you are." If you are determined to lose weight before your wedding, do it in a healthy manner. Drink lots of water to go with the additional exercise that you're taking on.
Most importantly, don't do it for him, and don't do it because you want to have the "perfect" wedding. Do it for yourself.

They have done done a recent study & the diet that works the fastest in the Atkins diet! It might not me the best diet for you & you will gain all the weight back if you dont gradully get off the diet the right way. But hey if you want to look good for your wedding try that & I hope that it works for you! You deserve to look like a million bucks on that day! Also you can not eat & excercise & that should help you loose weight also! I hope this helps! Good Luck :)

www.ebay.com Beachbody Power 90. Just do 20 minutes a day (it goes so fast you won't believe it), 3x a week!! Don't drink sodas, cut back on breads. Speed walk 30 minutes 2-3 times a week. I lost like 27 lbs in 8 weeks time by cutting back on those things and it went faster when I incorporated the workout!

Don't count on losing any weight, really. If you haven't done it by now, don't go through the stress of it whilst you are planning for a wedding.

I totally changed my eating habits. I gave up eating junk food and strating eating 5 small meals a day. I am never hungry and I have lost 10 lbs so far. I tried starving my self and eating other things, but it didn't seem to work. I read that if you starve your body, your metabolism starts to slow down. Now that I am eating 5 times a day, my metabolism and ebergy have boosted and I also started working out a little more. Small changes = big results. Congrats!

Hi GG,
Two words that I never knew before last month, and I have lost 9 pounds. RESISTANCE TRAINING. I thought cardio training was the way to lose, but if you build on muscles-not to bulk up but to tone, you lose weight. At first you will gain, but then you will lose.
