I stayed home sick from school today. I have a "chunky" cough and a stuffed nose, not to mention a sore throat.

Sounds like the common cold to me. As long as you're not sick to your stomach and vomiting, just ride out that bummer of a cold. Get some Nyquil for a good night's sleep.

Watch for fever, white pockets on the tonsils and signs of dehydration... otherwise drink warm fluids for your sore throat and chicken noodle soup... take a OTC (over the counter) pain reliever and if you aren't better in 2-3 days, your PCP (primary care doctor) would love to take your money for the same advice

Probably not, but if you don’t get better in 2-3 days, it’s time to see a doctor- you have to watch out for things like bronchitis which can get dangerous.

depends on the color of your mucus (sounds so gross I know) anything other then clear/very light yellow, you should go to a doctor.
