Of course, you will at first then your body will go into starvation mode because it's not getting any nourishment so it will start to store the fat, I'm guessing you are still at school as this is a very silly question, you would starve yourself and put your body through all that trauma just to lose weight, young girls like you really need to come into hospital and see first hand the affects on the body to what this does, there are people out there who are very ill and would do anything to be better and you're healthy but willing to make yourself ill, that's so silly

you will lose weight by eating a few handfuls of peanuts a day because your caloric intake will be roughly around 200 calories and that's a very small amount of calories for the average person to eat in a whole day. so yes you will lose weight doing this, but this is not a healthy way to lose weight and keep weight off. peanuts contain a certain amount of protein and that's good but you're missing other food groups (what about dairy, and vegetables and fruits?) you need to take in certain nutrients everyday and should have a balance of all of the food groups. if you eat peanuts for let's say 2-3 weeks and nothing else, when you lose the weight you want and decide to eat like a normal person again (i'm sure you can't live off of peanuts your whole life) you will go completely mad and probably eay more than what you used to. it's best to exercise and eat correctly but in portioned amounts and less calories to be able to drop 1-2 or 2-3 pounds a week.

Peanuts have a lot of protien, which is good, but they are very very very high in fat. You don't need many, and eating a few handfuls a day is a lot. Also, are you eating from the jar or fresh peanuts? Ones in a jar have a LOT of salt, which is very unhealthy.

It depends on your daily diet and exercise regime too. If you are burning more calories than you are eating, then you will lose weight. And if you typically eat healthy every day, it' okay. That bieng said, you don't want to eat all your calories per day in peanuts! Check the label, you will be surprised.

Peanuts are good for you.
Having said that, you need to know that if you only eat a handful each day, you will end up blowing your cover and have to go to the hospital, get a diagnosis like anorexic and be on constant supervision. If you want that, then hey, go ahead. Only people who seriously don't like their body would do something that harmful to themselves.
If you eat just peanuts once a day, you will lose your independence, because you won't be able to think properly.
Sorry, but that's how life on planet earth is. If you don't eat, you have proven you don't want to think for yourself.

I hope you are joking!

The best way to lose weight is to eat a balanced diet and exercise.

You sound like a teenager who is over-the -top and you probably are already thin but have a distorted view of your body.

Talk to your parents, a teacher, your doctor. Get help before you get ill.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!

Peanuts can be good for you, but if that's all your eating, you won't lose weight. Unroasted almonds are better.

Maybe for a day or two, after that your body will adjust to getting so few calories per day and your metabolism will slow down, burning less and less. You also risk fainting and getting sick from not getting enough nutrients.
