I Pray to the Father in name of Jesus Christ.
John 14:13 - And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
John 14:14 - If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
John 14:26 - But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
John 15:16 - Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
John 16:23 - And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.
John 16:24 - Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

Dear Tootie, Jesus Taught us How to pray, here is how.
Jesus said when you pray say:
Our father Which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name, thy Kingdom Come thy will be done on earth as it is In heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the power and the Kingdom and the Glory forever. Amen
This dosent mean you have to say this specific prayer every time you pray, but this is a good Model of How Our prayer should be structured.
God Bless

I pray much less than I should. But when I do, I try to be alone, and pray mentally not following any fixed pattern or prayer but if I was discussing something with somebody. In fact, I'm.
I'm trying to speak with God about my concerns and problems.
That's all.

Prayer is my way to communicate with God. I think of it as a conversation. It is both a time that I can talk to God and a time that I can listen to Him. My prayers are different everytime I pray. I take time everytime to praise God for His wonderful character, his loving attitude and his grace that he gives to me freely. I thank him for the blessings that he's given me. Sometimes, I read scripture that will get me into a better mindset (Romans 8 is my favorite. Pslam 8 and Pslam 139 are two others I use as prayers). I talk to God about the things that are bothering me and ask him to help me and I wait for the wisdom that he wishes to give me. I pray for the people that are around me that have given me reasons to pray for them. I ask God to forgive me for the times that I fall short, and ask him to give me peace about the struggles I have. After I pray, I am always reminded of the love God has for me and I am always renewed.

I try to pray on my knees every night.. but most of the time i forget and end up saying my prayers in bed.
But every morning i say the third step prayer and talk to God all through out my day.
3rd step prayer.
God, I offer myself to Thee--to build with me and to do with me as Thou wilt. Relieve me of the bondage of self, that I may better do Thy will. Take away my difficulties, that victory over them may bear witness to those I would help of Thy Power, Thy Love, and Thy Way of Life. May I do Thy will always!

I think every action of mine is a prayer. A prayer doesn't necessarily have to be verbal or a thought. It is not only a request made only in time of need. Talking, Walking, Helping, Watching, Kissing and just about ANYTHING one does is a prayer.

u just speak to God. easy as that, no method. Speak to him however u want. u can close ur eyes, u can kneel or anything u want.
Most of the time, im always speaking to God, just in my head. He is always with me. When i say a prayr like before bed time or before a meal, i usually close my eyes. The reason we close our eyes is so that we only concentrate on God and not what is going on around us (we humans r easily distracted)
