I was looking for the PLURAL - I.E. SPECTRA - something that haunts or troubles the mind... kind of answer. It is a noun and you all did find except for the last kid... I DONT WATCH BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL?????? WHAT KIND OF ANSWER IS THAT? any way, thanks everyone. I researched it myself and got more what I wanted. By the way, sprectra is plural noun, derivitave word of spectrum, spectre, etc.

Spectra means more than one spectrum, or continuum.

This should not be confused with a specter, or spectre, which is a ghost or phantasm.
