she is getting fixed, she is an indoor cat, some of you people if you really want to help read the whole thing. she has an appointment for three weeks from now, the question was if you can trick into thinking she had been bred to stop the cycle

Spay her. She wont care a thing about being bred then!

First of all, thank you for choosing to spay your cat (though you should have done it before her first heat). Apparently there are ways to trick them into thinking they have been bred, but they do not last very long, and she will continue to yowl. Unfortunately I'm afraid you're going to have to put up with it. You may be able to check her into a boarding kennel if you are that desperate to escape the noise.

Cats will continue to be in heat until they are bred, and I don't think that tricking her will do much good as their body's hormones will change if they are pregnant, which is what changes her behaviour. Well good luck with your cat!

either keep her caged until she goes out of heat (she will in a certain amount of time if not bred) or have her spayed. (if you aren't a breeder you shouldn't create more kittens there are enough in the world that need homes)Having her spayed is a kindness, she will live longer and be more content. Fixed cats roam less, and are healthier.

get her spayed. she will continue to be in heat till she is bred, then you have a littler of cats to deal with. save a life of a shelter cat and get her spayed. As Bob Barker says, "Have your pets spayed or neutered." Some shelters sven have low cost spay and neuter.

You can't. Her body will know. And she will be in heat a certain amount of time no matter what: That's why sometimes you will see kittens in the same litter that are plainly not fathered by the same tom.
