She needs more exercise, training and entertainment.
Dobermans are intelligent and high energy. If you don't keep them busy, they are a nervous wreck.
Sorry.

I have found through my own experiences that most dogs that are hyper dont start to calm down until they are 2 years old. I own a goldenretriever that was verry hyper and I thought he would never calm down. He is now three and a half and still a little hyper but he has made a major transformation and is the best behaved dog I have ever owned. Just give your dog time. If he/she becomes crazzy when people come over you should instruct guest prior to entering your home to ignore the dog and avoid eye contact until the dog calms down. Good luck and be patient.

Dobes are an energetic breed. She'll likely slow down some when she is about 2. You should be walking her DAILY, better yet somewhere that she can run off leash safely. You want to help use up some of that energy. If you really want to tire a Doberman out quickly, teach her something. Oddly enough when you want them to learn something new, they get sleepy :)
Do some obedience with her.. Join up with an agility club in your area.. Keep her active, exercised and happy, and she'll sleep all night long!

as elegant as dobes are, they are still a sporting type. most healthy dobes are very active for about the first five or so years of their lives.
more walks, runs in a fenced in area or at a dog park, maybe a buddy to play with.
enjoy your baby!

some Dobies never settle down. If you wanted a dog that would calm down later, you should not have gotten a Dobie.
