I've been to the dermatologist.
I've used the very expensive over the counter shampoos.
The over the counter shampoos work for about a month, then they stop working.

If the over the counter shampoos such as Head & Shoulders or Neutrogena or Selsun Blue does not seem to help, you may want to visit a doctor. A dermatologist (or even a family doctor) will be able to prescribe you a special shampoo that should clear it up. I used one about 3 yrs ago, and in 2 weeks the problem was gone.

You need to go to the doctor and thier is oral & on-the-scalp medicine that you can take depending on the scalp condition you actually have. Because dandruf actually can be caused by certain shampoo's, not enough conditioning or an actual internal problem or condition.Their are actually two kinds of real dandruff & it's sometimes caused from other things. Good luck with that.

The best shampoo out there is T-Gel. I use it once or twice a week, and it keeps the dandruff away. Try this. It will work.

Try to not wash your hair everyday. Use shampoos and conditioners that don't have scents in them. Oddly enough, one of the better shampoos out there is one for horses, I believe it's called Mane and Tail. It works wonders on my hair, which is really dry, and causes my scalp to itch and flake. But since I started using it, the flaking and itching has stopped, my hair is thicker, and stronger. After I towel dry my hair, I use Sleek and Shine serum to add shine.
